In early 2020, with COVID-19 shutting down much of public life including museums, I recorded a video tour of the UpCycle Time exhibit at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation. Director Bob Perry was kind enough to let me in (with my then girlfriend – we’ve since gotten engaged!) and we roamed the exhibit halls with a tripod and iPhone. I will say, it’s not easy to narrate a virtual museum tour while speaking directly at an (expressionless) camera for 5 minutes at a time. However, with a few hours of editing, I completed a 3-part series highlighting a few of the 25 pieces on display at CRMII and it is available to view on YouTube.

Part 2: bicycle clocks
Part 3: bicycle sculptures

I had the good fortune of having three works selected for display at a juried art show at the W Gallery in Wayland, MA during October 2021.

The video below highlights one of the works entitled Off The Wall which is made from upcycled wood taken from a discarded desk; the panels are wall-mounted with magnets and can be removed to use as table trivets.
